Keith Cohn and Lisa Moscarelli began Cohn Moscarelli in 1999 with just three months’ reserve in the bank and a dream to work for themselves. Both left successful careers in broadcast advertising sales to start their own marketing firm, but they lived through the rigors of starting a business from scratch, and knew they would find great success if they could offer their client’s transparency in advertising practices and a servant’s heart. While times were tough, they had great sources of inspiration on their side. Keith’s grandfather was accomplished in the apparel business, while Lisa’s grandparents, who emigrated from Italy, owned and operated a grocery store. Needless to say, this team has hard work, innovation and old-fashioned customer care in their DNA.
Today they have been recognized as one of Houston’s fastest growing companies by the Houston Business Journal’s “2011 Fast 100” list, and were listed among Houston’s top 5 largest advertising agencies by the Houston Business Journal’s; as they continue to evolve a practice that provides services for clients from coast to coast and across industry lines. They are by no means out of place among Houston’s most progressive businesses.
